International AVK Conference for Composites in the Trade Fair City of Düsseldorf for the first time 

The program for this year’s International AVK Conference on Reinforced Plastics/Composites which takes place at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf for the first time on 8-9 October 2012 is now available. The participants can look forward to an exclusive and compact event with top-class speakers who will be providing information on all subjects which are currently relevant in the Composites market. Not only will information be provided on cost-efficient series production and innovative materials and applications, but also on solutions for joining and bonding, repairs or for simulations. The lecture series on innovative materials for applications are supplemented by practical insights from the world of science and research as well as Composites-market developments in Europe, Turkey and the Middle East. A particular highlight is the presentation of this year’s AVK Innovation Award on the first evening of the conference.

Once again, the AVK Conference is the opening event at the COMPOSITES EUROPE trade fair, which opens its doors from 9 -11 October.

The ALUMINIUM trade fair will be held parallel to COMPOSITES EUROPE this year.

The AVK represents the interest of the German Composites Industry and it is in this capacity that it has made the AVK conference the most important branch meeting place for all of the composites value added chain participants over decades.
